The advantages of this technique are many. Among them are the facts that only the most interested of prospects will be targeted and that the cost to you can be zero or it may even add some dollars to your pay pal account. To start with, you need to put some time and effort into this project. You must do some good research and produce some information that will be valuable to the people that have an interest in what you offer on your website. If you are dealing in health and nutrition items, for instance, you will want to present information that will save a lot of time for your prospective clients to have to look it up. Do their legwork for them. Then you put all this information in an e-book, preferably in PDF format. Of course you lace the e-book with links to the websites you want to promote, where your prospects can get more information and make purchases. Then you list your e-book for sale on eBay. Since your object is to get your e-book into peoples’ hands, you charge only a nominal amount. Just enough to cover your eBay expenses and maybe leave a few dollars for more advertising funds. This way your listing will be near the top of the screen when customers search your category by lowest price. As you can imagine, the people who have taken the time to search eBay in the category that you have listed, are the prospects that have already proved their interest in what you offer. Furthermore, if they spent even a nominal amount for your e-book, they are going to read it. It goes then without saying that the prospects that you obtain with this technique are those who are the most likely to buy you products and services. The only hard part is coming up with an e-book that will be worthy enough, to make your prospects trust that you know what you are talking about and that it is desirable to do business with you.
